Inspired by "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch and eager to hear more of the words of wisdom of my teachers, in my senior year of high school I started a community lecture series where teachers nominated by students were provided the opportunity to give a lecture on whatever topic of their choice to share their words of wisdom. Working with friends and administrators, I built a vision for the lecture series and turned the idea into a reality. Today, a tradition at Clayton High School, Words of Wisdom continues years later.
